L&T says good response to Seawoods Residences Ph II

Seawoods Residences has retail, office and residential spaces

Larsen & Toubro, India’s biggest construction firm, said it has got an encouraging response to the launch of its second phase of its Seawoods Residences project in Navi Mumbai.

The first phase of the semi-premium housing project, launched early last year, saw decent levels of interest, with reports claiming that the company got 1,800 bookings for the 500 apartments on offer. The company claims that the units were sold in ‘record time’.

The second phase, priced in the range of Rs 2 cr and above per apartment, was opened to booking two weeks ago, and L&T claims that it has got 300 “expressions of interest” so far for the project. It did not clarify what “expressions of interest” meant, but it could mean sales inquiries.

The project is located next to the Seawoods Darave station, and is one of the few high-end projects in the area.

“This residential project is just a few steps away from Seawoods Grand Central Mall and the railway station and is in close vicinity of the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport,” the company said.

“With an area of 10 acres, it is the premium most development of Navi Mumbai. The prospective residents will enjoy a life within a gated community here that has all facilities including a lavish bi-storeyed 20,000 sq ft state-of-the-art clubhouse.

“Rare to find in this location, the project consists of around 3.5-acre lush green landscaped garden on the podium level, with a jogging track and an open-air amphitheater,” it added.

The 10-acre project is a mini-city in itself, and has office and retail spaces, hotels, F&B and entertainment zones.

The company pitches the project as India’s first Transit-Oriented Development (TOD)– Seawoods Grand Central.

“Conceptualised on the lines of the world’s best TODs, this is now the new epicenter of Navi Mumbai. The revamped railway station, Mumbai’s most popular Mall and the large office spaces on the campus, have been instrumental in drawing customers to Seawoods Residences,” it said.

The project has been designed by Hong Kong-based Woods Bagot, while the landscape has been designed by landscape architects WAH.
