Godrej Properties launches new project on Bangalore Airport road

The project promises ‘drinking water straight from the tap’

Godrej Properties Ltd, a Mumbai-based real estate developer, announced a new project, ‘Godrej Aqua’, on the International Airport Road in Bangalore.

The project gets its name from its efforts to  recycle most of the water on site using advanced technologies and promises to offer ‘drinking water straight from the tap’.

Godrej Aqua will offer two- and three-bedroom apartments with carpet areas ranging from 69 to 116 square metres.

A total of 540 flats will be built under the project, divided into nine towers of nine floors each. Possession has been promised in the year 2021.

The starting price of flats in the project is Rs 56.82 lakhs, according to the project website.

The project will be spread across 7.19 acres, out of which 2.5 acres will be dedicated to greenery.

The Godrej Aqua will offer saleable area of approximately 72,918 square metres.

The Airport Road, also known as Bellary Road, is considered a premium and up-and-coming residential area, with many developers launching projects in recent years.

The area is accessible to the areas like Hebbal, Yelahanka and Devanahalli, home to many industrial and IT establishments.

Unlike other areas, the region is also relatively less expensive for acquiring land, which works as an added incentive for developers.

Besides Godrej Properties, players like Prestige and Puravankara also have projects in the region.

Godrej Properties, which was focused almost entirely on its home market till a few years ago, now has 17 projects in Bangalore.
