Indira Gandhi National University started registration for the entrance test for its MBA programme. The test, called OPENMAT, will be held on 10 March. The last date for submitting the application form is 14th February.
IGNOU’s MBA entrance test is held twice an year. The registration fee for the test is Rs 1000.
Graduates in any subjects, including in chartered accountancy, cost accountancy and company secretaryship with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply. The cut-off for reserved category candidates is 45%.
Candidates who clear the OPENMAT are eligible for admission in MBA and related management course without any age bar.
Hall tickets will be uploaded on the university website 10 days before the exam. The candidates can download their hall tickets from IGNOU website and report to the examination centre for appearing in the entrance test.
Candidates who clear the test can join the management programmes in the next two semesters that start in July 2019 and January 2020.
Admission to management programmes such as MBA and PG Diplomas in HRM, FM, OM, MM and FMP will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the OPENMAT.
IGNOU has study centers across the country to help students complete their courses.
The OPENMAT result card will be sent to the students within 6-7 weeks from the date of the examination.
Admission will be offered to all those attain the cut-off score in the entrance test.
