Flipkart and Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus will give discounts ranging from a minimum of Rs 1,000 to a maximum of Rs 8,000 on its Zenfone series from Wednesday through Friday.
The discounts and zero-cost EMI offers are valid on Zenfone Max Pro M1, Zenfone 5Z and Zenfone Lite L1.
The Zenfone Max M1 will only get no-cost EMI and discounted insurance.
The biggest discount, in terms of percentage, is on the entry-level Zenfone Lite L1, which will now come for Rs 4,999 instead of the regular 5,999.
Asus will also throw in mobile insurance, covering theft and damage, for Rs 9.
The highest selling model — Zenfone Max Pro M1 — will come with a Rs 1,000 discount, no-cost EMI of up to 6 months and insurance for Rs 99.
The 3+32 GB version of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 will come for Rs 8,999 under the Asus Day offer, while the 4+64 GB version will come for Rs 10,999 and the 6+64 GB variant will come for Rs 12,999.
The no-cost EMI is applicable on credit cards, debit cards and Bajaj Finance, Flipkart said.
Asus is the only non-Chinese firm to somewhat successfully withstand the onslaught of Chinese smartphone makers like OnePlus, Vivo, Xiaomi and Oppo in recent years.
A discount of Rs 8,000 is also available on the premium model, Zenfone 5Z.
