SpiceJet said it would start six new daily direct flights on both domestic and international routes starting from 10th October 2018.
These flights cover Hyderabad, Guwahati, Patna and Bangkok.
There will be new daily flights from Hyderabad to Bangkok. The inaugural fare from Hyderabad to Bangkok will be Rs 9,999 and the return will be Rs 8,299.
On the domestic front, there will be new daily flights between Hyderabad and Guwahati and Guwahati and Patna (see chart).
“SpiceJet is the first airline in the country to introduce a daily direct flight on the Guwahati-Patna route,” the company said.
The inaugural fare on the domestic routes will start at Rs 3,099, it said.
The company will deploy Boeing 737 aircraft on these routes.
SpiceJet has been scripting a strong turnaround in its business, after making losses for several years. The company offers the cheapest fares in India and has the highest passenger load factor among domestic airlines.
“We see immense potential in these routes and are proud to be the only Indian carrier to provide direct connectivity between Hyderabad and Bangkok,” said Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Sales & Revenue Officer – SpiceJet.
