Bharti Airtel has started offering Google’s flagship smartphone, Pixel, on its online store at an EMI of Rs 2,799.
Both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are available, but have different down-payments.
The Pixel 2 requires a down-payment of Rs 10,599 for the 64 GB version and Rs 12,599 for the 128 GB version.
The larger Pixel 2 XL requires an initial payment of Rs 15,599 for the 64 GB variant and Rs 22,599 for the 128 GB variant.
Unlike regular credit card and bank EMIs, Bharti Airtel’s EMIs come with free calls and data.
All four devices come with 50 GB of free, high-speed data per month, with rollover, and unlimited local and national calls.
They also bundle one year of free Amazon Prime subscription worth Rs 999.
The company is also offering iPhones and Samsung Galaxy S9 devices on similar EMIs.
Under the EMI scheme, the Google Pixel XL 64 GB will cost almost Rs 66,000, including the interest costs as well as the cost of the freebie data and calls.
The market price of the device in India is Rs 53,900.
The phone comes with Android v8.0.1 Oreo operating system, a 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory and support for one SIM.
The device has a 15.24 centimeters (6-inch) P-OLED screen with 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution and a 3.5 AH battery.
