Dilip Buildcon awarded NH projects worth Rs 1,050 cr in UP, Karnataka

Construction company Dilip Buildcon said it has been awarded two contracts by the National Highways Authority of India for a combined total of Rs 1050 cr.

The bigger contract, worth Rs 670.50 cr, has been awarded for road development work in Uttar Pradesh, while the 380.07 cr contract is for work in Karnataka.

The company had informed about the signing of letter of intent on these projects earlier in the month.

Separately, the company has also been reported to be lowest bidder for a new road project in Andhra Pradesh. That hybrid annuity project is valued at Rs 2,013 cr, but is yet to be awarded.

Among the two projects that were awarded, the one in UP is for the rehabilitation of NH 7 from Varanasi to Dagamagpur and for upgrading it from two lane to four lane.

The Karnataka project for the two-laning of 53 km of NH-4A in the state.

Dilip Buildcon, founded in 1988, is headquartered in Bhopal and projects itself as ‘India’s fastest growing road development company’.

It works via two models — EPC Projects and Toll Operations, and develops highways, city roads, culverts, bridges, irrigation facilities, water supply, coal mining, water sanitation and sewage.
