Royal Orchid Hotels announced the opening of its eighth new hotel this year at Nashik, the wine capital of India.
‘Regenta Resort Soma Vine Village’ has 32 rooms with “varied” dining and banquet facilities, the hotel chain said.
With this, the total number of hotels in the chain has reached 49.
Chander Baljee, Managing Director of the hotel chain said the chain continues on its path to expand its presence throughout the country.
“The new hotel in Nasik is one such move towards achieving our aim.. Going forward we will continue to add more properties to both-explored and unexplored tourist destinations,” he said.
“The government push toward tourism sector is giving us the much needed enthusiasm to go aggressive in adding new properties to our bouquet,” he added. “The hotel is the perfect complement to our recently refreshed Regenta portfolio of hotels across India.”
Nashik is a fast-growing tourist destination, and the new hotel too is geared largely at tourists.
“On-site amenities at the hotel include a completely refreshed restaurant, a winery, a state-of-the-art fitness center and outdoor pool, as well as a business centre, and spa services,” the company said.
The city has numerous forts, temples, historic sites as well as a home to industries. It also offers green pastures, mountains and tours of the wine yard within close proximity to Mumbai.
