The Tata Motors said group global wholesales in October 2017, including Jaguar Land Rover, rose 2.7% to 1.04 lakh in October. In September, group global wholesale had risen 14% to 1,16,419.
Wholesales of commercial vehicles, including Tata Daewoo, rose 1.3% to 37,400.
Wholesales of passenger vehicles rose faster at 3.5% to 66,361, compared to 10% in September.
Out of this, Jaguar Land Rover accounted for 49,757, including 6,880 from its China JV. In September, the number was 57,365.
Jaguar wholesales for October were 13,295 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 36,462 vehicles, the company said.
Three days ago, the company released retail sales of JLR.
JLR retail sales were up only 0.2% in October to 46,418 vehicles.
Jaguar retail sales were down 14.3% to 12,336 vehicles in October, while Land Rover retailed 34,082 vehicles in October, up 6.8%.
