Lava launches 7-inch, thin Intel-powered tablet at 6,299

LAVA International has launched an Intel Atom-powered tablet priced at Rs 6,299.

The model has a 7-inch HD (not full HD) display and 1 GB of RAM. Display technology is not IPS, so viewing angles may not be the best.

It has a 5 MP rear and 3.2 MP front camera with real flash and auto focus.

Lava Ivory POP is powered by a 1.0 GHz quad core processor and comes with with 16 GB ROM (expandable up to 32GB) which makes for large storage space for various applications and data. The tablet runs on Android 5.1 operating system.

Lava Ivory POP also supports 3G connectivity for fast mobile data. Other connectivity options on the tablet include Voice calling, Bluetooth, USB and GPS compatibility.

On a positive note, the tablet is very thin at just 8.8 mm.
