Noble Skiodo TV — which has attracted attention with its ultra-cheap prices, has launched its biggest model in India: a 65-inch Full HD Android TV priced at Rs 85,000.
At present, 65-inch TVs are the domain of big brands such as Samsung, LG, Sony and more recently, LeEco.
However, these models cost above Rs 1 lakh. Not just that, smaller brands such as Intex and Micromax typically don’t launch 1 lakh and above products because of consumer aversion towards spending such high amounts on items produced by relative newcomers.
However, Noble — which has a distribution tie-up with Amazon — seems to be willing to take the gamble.
The company produces its TVs under a technological tie-up with Skiodo Inc. from Silicon Valley.
The new model, 70SM65N01, comes with an A+ grade panel and smart TV features, the company said.
“An A+ grade panel enriches better picture quality without light reflecting on your TV screen and provides ripple free images every time. The A+ grade panel distinguishes Noble from the rest,” it said.
Other features include a “high performance engine, high-speed response and smart, multi-function versatility.”
The model comes with a Cortex A7 Quad Core CPU and Mali 450MP2 GPU, supported by 512 MB DDR4 RAM and external 4GB EMMC flash memory.
The Android TV also has a wireless Keyboard, which includes TV remote control functions such as power on/off, channel changing and volume adjustments.
“An ultimate entertainment unit with the in-built social media and live streaming apps.
Bringing home, the personalized TV experience and offering the great value for money, Noble Skiodo blends in value and quality for perfect harmony,” the company claimed.
“One will not be able to differentiate the difference between virtual and reality with this 1.07G Colors deployed to deliver phenomenal picture quality that makes the images look real.”
The Noble Skiodo model also comes with built-in Wi-Fi that can be used to directly connect the TV to the Internet.
You can also plugin and play digital content using your devices like Headphones, USB, HDMI, LAN, VGA port and so on.
There are three HDMI ports to connect the TV to a computer, gaming system, DVD player etc. To make it more effective you can also connect your external device with your TV through a USB port.
