Tata group’s multi-brand phygital ecommerce platform, Tata CLiQ announced a seven-day independence sales, offering items such as LED TVs and smartphones for as little as Rs 70.
Consumers will get 70 great deals spread over a period of 7 days for everyone with special offers on electronics from 8th to 10th August and handsome discounts on apparel and footwear from 11th to 15th August.
Other products on sale include kitchen appliances up to 60% off, personal care up to 40% off, Micromax Canvas, Sony Bravia LED TVs, Dell laptops and washing machines at instant discount of Rs. 1000 under an exchange offer.
Tata Cliq, being the newest kid on the block, tends to offer higher discounts and promotions compared to competitors like Amazon and Flipkart.
In addition, being a fully-Indian company, Cliq does not suffer from legal shortcomings and restrictions like Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal, whichh are majority foreign owned. This means that the Tata website has the ability to not just act as a marketplace, but also a seller.
As a result, Tata CliQ can potentially offer bigger promotions and discounts compared to Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal as the latter are dependent on their seller-partners for promotions and discounts.
With a 1000+ brands on Tata CLiQ, consumers can also take advantage of offers on international brands exclusively available on the website which are at up to 60% off and additionally footwear up to 60% off, the company said.
Building their Wednesday Hump Day Sale property further, a special ‘Hump Day Flash sale’ was celebrated on the 10th with an offer on select products including big ticket items, like LED TVs, microwave ovens and cellphones which were available at Rs 70 flat from 7 am to 7 pm.
