LeEco, which has taken India by storm since its entry two months ago, said it will announce two mega offers for its upcoming LeEco Day on Apr 7 and 8.
No details about the two offers were given by the company. However, it said the first one — to be announced on tomorrow (Sunday) will be a ‘mega’ offer, while the one being revealed on Monday will be a ‘bumper’ one.
UPDATE: The first offer is that Flipkart will give 5% cash back on all credit and debit cards.
Xiaomi is holding its Mi Fan Festival on Apr 6 (next Wednesday), and buyers will be able to figure out whose offers are the best by Monday itself.
Xiaomi, for its part, has announced consecutive sales of its Redmi Note 3 32 GB and Mi5 on that day, along with lots of free gifts and coupons.
April is turning out to be an exciting month for smartphone lovers, with Redmi Note 32 GB becoming available, though it has been nearly one month since it was actually supposed to start selling in India.
Secondly, LeEco is scheduled to refresh its lineup and launch its second series of models in April. These include the Le 2, Le 2s, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2.
Out of these, only the Le 2s and 2Pro are likely to be launched in India, possibly by the end of the month.
It is unlikely that the LeEco day will be about unveiling these new models. The official tagline of the event is ‘super offer carnival’.
Rather, Flipkart has said the occasion is one for “upgrading from a smart (phone) to a super (phone),” with a photo of the Le 1s next to it.
LeTV has already announced that the LeEco Day will have exchange offers of up to Rs 10,000 on Le 1s and Rs 21,000 on the Le Max.
