MOBILES

A day after Flipkart gave discounts on many top mobile phones, Amazon India is offering price cuts on smartphones and mobiles as part of its Great Indian Sale today, including the open sale of Yu Yutopia.

YU Yutopia OPEN SALE

Surprisingly, the Great Indian Sale includes the open availability of Yu Yutopia, a quad-HD mobile phone with 5.2 inch display, 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, advanced camera features and 32 GB of storage memory at Rs 24,999.

The phone was expected to be much in demand and a queue system was introduced when it was launched last month.

The open sale of the Yutopia has come as a surprise.

DISCOUNTS – MID RANGE

The best deals on mid-range devices include the following.

Another interesting offer is the high-end Zenfone 2 with 4 GB RAM at just Rs 15,999 – a discount of nearly Rs 4,000. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD display and 3 Ah battery. Built in memory is only 16 GB, but the device does support external memory as well. The 32 GB version is available if you pay Rs 1,000 extra.

OnePlus’s 5-inch device, the OnePlus X is available at Rs 14,999 — a cut of Rs 2,000. A similar price cut is on offer on the Lenovo Vibe S1, now selling for Rs 13,999.

Other Amazon offers include Rs 500 off the Redmi Note Prime, which now sells for Rs 7,999.

HIGH-END SMARTPHONES

OnePlus 2 64 GB has got a Rs 2,000 discount and is now available for Rs 22,999.

The model is powered by Snapdragon 808 coupled with 2 GB of RAM and a 2.7 Ah battery. The 5X is also available on Paytm at Rs 17,777 including store credit.
