Motorola is launching its 3rd Generation X series phone, the Moto X Play in India today.
The price is just Rs 18,499.

The full-HD phone is expected to give the OnePlus Two a run for its money.
No word, yet, on when the Moto X Style, the true high-end phone, is going to be introduced to India.
Unlike the metallic builds of OnePlus Two and Meizu MX5, the Moto X Play retains the older plasticky looks.
The India version of Moto X Play offers internal memory of 32 GB, and gives the user the option of extending the storage memory with the use of a MicroSD card. OnePlus Two does not have a card slot.
The X Play has a 21 MP camera but does not have a fingerprint scanner. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and a mid-range octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset.
The phone’s 3.6 Ah battery gives a backup of 30 hours, the company said, though it’s not clear how much of ‘screen on’ time that translates to.
We’ll update the price details as soon as the company announces it.
