LG Magna, cousin of Spirit, available in India at Rs 14.5k

LG Magna, a mid-range phone from the Korean manufacturer is now available in select markets in India at a prices of around Rs 14,500.

The phone comes with a 5 inch 720p, curved IPS display and unfortunately no 4G. It is very similar to LG Spirit, except for the fact that the Spirit has a 4.7 inch, curved IPS display of the same resolution.

It is not clear whether LG will announce official prices for the phone in an ‘official launch’.

LG Magna White

The LG Magna variant launched in India has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, dual-SIM support and a quad-core 1.4 GHz processor.

In many ways, the phone cannot be considered a value offering under any circumstances, but the model is interesting primarily because of its (slightly) curved display and the fact that it comes with Android Lolipop built in.

LG Magna comes with a 2,540 mAh battery and Bluetooth 4.1.

Similarly, LG G Flex 2, a high-end, no-Glass, flexible phone is also available in India at Rs 42,000. However, LG Spirit and Magna have only slight curvature, and are not flexible.

However, all three phones belong to the new line-up from the Korean giant.
