What do you get when you add a 4,000 mAh battery to the extremely popular A7000 handset in India? The Lenovo P70 is aimed fairly and squarely at those who really cannot charge their phone every day, or those who can’t keep their fingers away from their smartphones even for a minute.
But for the privilege, you have to shell out Rs 7,000 extra – as the P70 is priced at Rs 15,999 in India.
Other specifications are the same as those of the A7000, except for the display size and the operating system, which unfortunately is still Android KitKat.
The display is 5 inches, compared to 5.5-inches on the A7000, but has the same resolution of 720p. RAM too is similar at 2 GB and internal memory at 16 GB. The phone also comes with 13+5 MP cameras.
“The Lenovo P70 features a huge 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge, advanced power-saving software and OTG charging to power your other devices,” the company said.
The Dual-Sim phone supports LTE 800 MHz and 1800 MHz, but doesn’t look like it supports the 2300 MHz band service offered by Airtel and soon by Jio.
The model is available both on Lenovo’s official store in India as well from retailer Infibeam.
