Steel tubes and pipes manufacturing firm Ratnamani Metals and Tubes Ltd said it received a Rs 255 crore order from the oil and gas sector for the supply of coated carbon steel pipes.
Carbon steel, also called mild steel, are used in oil and gas pipeline, plumbing and water supply systems.
The order will be completed between September 2019 to March 2020, Ratnamani Metals said.
The company did not name the client.
Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Ratnamani Metals and Tubes Ltd’s operating segments include steel tubes and pipes and windmill.
It is engaged in the manufacturing of stainless steel pipes and tubes and carbon steel pipes at Kutch, Indrad and Chhatral in Gujarat. It also manufactures stainless steel seamless and welded tubes and pipes.
Ratnamani is also engaged in the business of generation of power by windmills.
The company offers its products to oil and gas, petrochemicals and refineries, thermal, atomic energy, defense and aerospace industries, among others.
