Infrastructure major Larsen and Toubro on Monday said it bagged orders worth over Rs 2,500 crore from Jharkhand, Hyderabad, Gujarat and West Bengal and Bihar.
The buildings and factories arm of L&T received an order from the Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation Limited for the construction of two 500-bed hospitals at Jamshedpur and Dumka respectively.
It also secured another order from a leading developer for the construction of a 108 m tall commercial complex at Raidurgam, Hyderabad. Spread across a built-up area of 3.6 lac sqm, the project will comprise leasable area, high street retail frontage, grand retail plaza, recreational activities, landscape areas, and amenities like multi-level car parking spaces. The project is to be completed in 32 months.
The business has also secured an order from a renowned construction machinery manufacturer for the construction of a manufacturing facility in Gujarat.
The water and effluent treatment arm of the firm has bagged orders from the Public Health Engineering Directorate, Government of West Bengal for the design and construction of various irrigation infrastructure in Bankura district. The structures to be built include wells, a water treatment plant, an intermediate pumping station, tanks and pipelines.
The business has also secured an engineering, procurement and construction order from Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority for the design and construction of water-supply and sewerage infrastructure for land pooling schemes in Amaravati City.
It also secured an order from the Faridabad Smart City Limited for the laying of civic infrastructure, construction and upgradation of roads networks, underground cabling of transformers, street lighting and landscaping works in Faridabad.
The company also received a smart city development order from Patna Smart City Ltd for the retrofitting and re-development of storm water drains, development of smart road network, development of footpaths, a utility corridor, streetscaping, vendor and parking zone creation, installation of street furniture with smart street lighting, smart bus stops and allied works in Patna.
