Cox & Kings unit opens its first hotel in Hungary

Cox and Kings said that its hotel subsidiary Meininger Hotels announced the opening of its first hotel in Hungary.

The hotel, named Meininger Budapest Great Market Hall, will have 751 beds in 184 rooms spread over 6,600 square metres on seven floors.

The new hotel is located in the Ferencydros district, close to the Great Market Hall and the Liberty Bridge, the company said in a statement.

Along with public spaces like reception, lobby, breakfast room, lounge and bar, the hotel also offers facilities like underground car parking, guest kitchen and game zone.

Meininger is a subsidiary of Holidaybreak Ltd, which is a subsidiary of Prometheon Holdings (UK) Ltd, which in turn is a subsidiary of Cox & Kings Ltd, the Indian listed entity.
