Radio City, an Indian radio station, has partnered with technology company Beatchain to launch “Muzartdisco,” a new platform aimed at independent musicians. The platform was introduced at the ‘All About Music’ conference in Mumbai on August 6, 2024.
Muzartdisco utilizes Beatchain’s technology to provide tools for music distribution, promotion, and marketing. The platform allows artists to retain rights to their work and offers data insights into music performance through a personal dashboard.
Ashit Kukian, CEO of Radio City, stated that Muzartdisco will offer opportunities for artists to promote their work and track their growth. The platform is part of Radio City’s strategy to expand its digital presence, which the company refers to as “Radigitalization.”
Luke Mendoza, Chief Strategy Officer at Beatchain, mentioned that the platform aims to help identify promising talent and connect artists with industry professionals.
