HCL SSHS, a joint venture between HCL Technologies and US-based State Street Corporation, said it plans to recruit over 1,000 graduates and post-graduates in commerce, accountancy and finance for its new office in Ganavaram, Vijayawada.
The new office has been set up at Medha Tech Park and will be dedicated to finance-related processes such as Capital Markets – middle and back office for custody, fund administration, investment management and brokerage services.
The center, spread over 63000 sq ft, will cater to global clients of HCL Technologies.
The joint venture with State Street Corp was set up on 2012 and offers high end financial services.
“This initiative will help provide a diverse range of employment opportunities to the youth in the region that will help in building a strong foundation for their future by enhancing the quality of life,” the outsourcing company said.
Andhra Pradesh IT minister Nara Lokesh said his government is committing to creating more jobs for the youngsters of the state.
“I am confident that the opening of this center will help unlock the talent potential of the state and offer great platform to local talent to pursue global opportunities,” he added.
Gannavaram is a neighbourhood of Vijayawada in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.
