PVR opens 4-seat multiplex at Phoenix United Mall in Bareilly

PVR Cinemas said it has opened its 137th multiplex at Phoenix United Mall in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.

With this, said India’s largest cinema exhibitor, it now has 13 multiplexes in Uttar Pradesh.

The company has also increased the total multiplexes in North India to 49.

The latest property will have four screens, taking the total screens in Uttar Pradesh to 62 and to 638 on an all-India level.

“Located in the highly developed residential catchments of the city in Pilbhit Bypass, the cinema caters to a seating capacity of 986 customers at one time,” said the company.

The company has a presence in 54 cities in 19 states & union territories in India.

The company, started in 1997, sells around 76 million tickets per year.

Besides regular screens, it has a special screen called Director’s Cut as well as 32 screens of Gold Class.

Other types of experiences offered are IMAX, 4DX, PXL and Playhouse.
