SpiceJet has introduced ten new flights between South Indian cities of Mangalore, Kozhikode, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Rajahmundry.
Three new flights have been introduced from Chennai — to Kozhikode, Hyderabad and Mangalore, while Hyderabad will see two new flights — to Chennai and Rajahmundry.
Kozhikode will see two new flights, to Bangalore and Chennai.
It is introducing an additional evening flight on Hyderabad-Rajahmundry, Chennai-Kozhikode and Bengaluru-Kozhikode sectors.
With the expansion, there will three daily flights on the Chennai-Hyderabad route from Spicejet, while also introducing its first daily direct flight between Chennai and Mangalore.
The new flights will use the Bombardier Q-400 aircraft.
“We have introduced evening flights on key sectors which will operate in addition to the existing morning flights and help business travelers conveniently plan same day trips,” said Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Sales & Revenue Officer – SpiceJet.
The frequencies introduced on the Chennai-Kozhikode and Bengaluru-Kozhikode routes will be operational on all days except Tuesdays. Similarly, the second frequency introduced on the Hyderabad-Rajahmundry route, commencing operations on 25th May 2018 will be operational on all days except Saturdays.
