Outsourcing services provider Tata Consultancy Services and instrumentation and industrial automation company Fortive Corp said they would work together to develop Internet-of-Things-based solutions.
TCS is already Fortive’s outsourcing partner.
Fortive provides solutions in the fields of instrumentation, transportation, sensing, product realization, automation and specialty, and franchise distribution.
“As part of this partnership, TCS will jointly work with Fortive to explore mutual business and goto-market opportunities that incorporate Fortive’s products and technologies into TCS projects, allowing for potential new offerings that leverage skills, resources, and intellectual property from both companies,” said TCS.

Barbara Hulit, Senior Vice President, Fortive, said the collaboration would accelerate her company’s digital strategy.
