Ramco Systems wins multi-million dollar ERP deal from Philippines

Cloud-based software vendor Ramco Systems’ said it won a multi-million dollar order from Philippines-based logistics and money transfer company LBC Express, a year after getting its first order from the company.

The first order was to deploy a cloud-based HR management system, while the latest order is in the nature of ERP deployment to manage the company’s logistics and supply chain operations across its 1,300 global branches and 121 warehouses.

Ramco said it won against global players.

India-based players like Ramco, who operate in a highly cost conscious society, often work at higher levels of efficiency compared to global players and are able to provide better pricing.

 

“Logistics operations is the lifeline of our business. The decision to replace our existing systems with a new-age Logistics suite is aimed at gaining complete visibility of operations to arrest revenue leakage and improve productivity,” said Mike Camahort, GEO, LBG Express.

Ramco’s software suite comprises of modules, such as HR management, ERP and so on.

The system has support for managing freiqht-fonwarding, courier planninq, rating and billing, as well as end-to-end warehouse, fleet and supply chain management, the Chennai-based company said.
