One of the most powerful tablets in the market today, the LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition – has been launched in India by shopyourworld.com at a price of Rs 30,000.
The 8.3 inch tablet comes with a full HD display, a quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 processor and 2GB RAM.
The LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition comes with 16 GB of internal memory and an Adreno 320 graphics processor from Qualcomm.
The LG G Pad is also one of the first tablets in India to come with the new Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, and has a rather large 4.6 ampere hour battery.
The G Pad will compete with the Galaxy Series from Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 P601, the most powerful tablet available in India at present, is priced at Rs 47,000, and comes with an Octa-core processor, and a 4 million pixel display. In comparison, the LG G Pad offers 2 million pixels on its display.
