DOMO, a PC peripherals and tablets brand, has launched its first two smartphones – a 5.2 inch dual-core model priced at Rs 8,900 and a 4-incher at Rs 3,990.
Both models are priced reasonably, and offer value for money.
However, the company has not revealed one crucial factor, especially for the 5.2 inch model – the display resolution.
According to our previous reviews, displays in the 5 to 6 inch range with qHD resolution tend to look grainy, and a 720p resolution is required to give clarity and smoothness.
Otherwise, the phones are well equipped, and since DOMO already has a neat presence in the tablet category, service may also not be a big issue, especially in the big cities. One of the best things about DOMO is their ‘ticket’ system for after-sales service. It lets users keep exact track of their complaints.
The DOMO nTice F12 comes with a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor and a more-than-decent PowerVR SGX 531 Graphics Processor, 5.2″ Screen, 3G with video calling, GPS, Bluetooth v3.0 and Dual SIM slots. It also has a 5 MP Auto focus camera, Jelly Bean 4.1 and support for Google Play.
“The Hardware of the nTice F12 is strong enough to offer user capabilities to create movies, edit photos and connect wirelessly to their Smart TV’s. It can run power hungry business apps as well as graphics hungry high end games,” the company claims.
nTice A10 is powered with a 1Ghz processor and a Mali 300 GPU along with multi-touch capacitive touch screen and dual SIM slots.
