The Prime Minister’s office clarified that the two member committee inquiring into the Antrix-Devas deal has submitted its report.
The report has been forwarded to the Cabinet Secretary, the highest official in the central government, for his comments within 15 days.
The PMO statement, however, was quiet on the contents of the letter, but media reports indicated that the two-members B.K.Chaturvedi and R. Narasimha, found nothing wrong with the deal.
The government has also told the Parliament, as late as last week, it found nothing wrong with the $300 million deal to launch a satellite music and multimedia service using ISRO satellites.
