Wipro posted IT Services revenues of $1.344 billion, a sequential increase of 5.6% and year on year
increase of 19.3%. It is slightly lower than those of TCS and HCL Technologies, both of which grew dollar revenues in the 7-8% range. Infosys had grown by around 3% only.
In Rupee terms, revenue was Rs 5,949 crore, an increase of 15% over the same period last year.
IT Services added 36 new clients in the quarter and 3,591 employees, better than HCL Technologies.
It guided for a sequential increase of 3% to 5% in IT Services business for the coming quarter.
