Majesco, an insurance software provider, and IT services giant IBM tied up to offer a cloud based platform to their insurance clients to speed up customer service with the help of data analytics.
The five-year partnership will allow insurance companies to develop and launch new products and services via the IBM cloud, the company said.
IBM will contribute application programming interfaces that will run on IBM cloud thereby allowing insurance companies to better analyse, price and understand business risks using new data sources and add an personalized interface to the services.
Majesco operates in eight countries including North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia and will contribute software to this offering for property and casualty insurance, general liability insurance,life, annuity, pensions and insurance that improves speed to market, customer retention and business processes.
IBM’s global data presence includes nearly 50 IBM Cloud data centers in 18 countries.
