Biostar, one of the leading manufacturers for Motherboards and Graphic cards, announced the launch of its first Sold State Drive (SSD) category with G300 series for power users and gamers looking for high performance storage starting at Rs 3,250.
SSD is similar to a hard disk and does functionally everything a hard drive does but data is instead stored on interconnected flash memory chips that retain the data even when there’s no power present and reduce the data loading time.
The G300 SSDs is designed to deliver a read speed of upto 550 MB/s and a write speed of 480 MB/s in PC’s, said the company.
The G300 series SSD’s will be available in 120GB, 240GB and 480 GB variants and is 6.8mm thick so that it can fit in most laptops perfectly including the latest slim models, said the company.
