Sun TV Network profit rose by 19% to Rs 233.06 cr due to a sharp fall in depreciation costs.
Depreciation and amortisation charges fell by around Rs 30 cr while net profit increased by Rs 37 cr. Revenue growth was muted at 10%.
Subscription revenue grew by 22% to Rs 232.13 cr, but the company did not disclose advertising revenue growth.
Subscription revenue for their cable TV and DTH services grew by 37% and 16% respectively.
Total revenue increased by 10% to 760.8 cr from Rs. 689 cr last year.
Earnings per share (EPS) grew by 19% to Rs 5.91 from Rs 4.97.
