Bharti Airtel and Amazon will offer Rs 2,600 cash back over a period of three years for anyone who purchases any of the 65 smartphones exclusively available on Amazon.
However, they must make Airtel recharges of Rs 7,000 over a period three years, or about Rs 200 per month.
Customers have to buy any of the models by making a full payment.
If recharges worth Rs 3,500 is done in the first 18 months, the customer will get Rs 500 from Airtel, and if another Rs 3,500 worth of recharges are done in the next 18 months, he or she will get Rs 1,500.
Airtel did not specify whether the money will be paid as cash or talktime or Airtel money balance.
In addition to the Rs 2,000 offered by Airtel, Amazon will offer Rs 600.
“To enjoy the additional cashback of Rs 600 from Amazon, customers will have to make 24 Airtel recharges of INR 169 via Amazon,” the companies said.
“The Rs 600 will be given as cashbacks of Rs 25 onto customer’s Amazon Pay balance every month for a period of 24 months.”
The Rs 169 recharge offers free voice and 1 GB of data (in total) for a period of 28 days.
The Amazon cash back scheme covers models from popular brands such as Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Honour, LG, Lenovo & Motorola, including Redmi 5 and Honor 7X.
There is no need to return the device to Airtel or Amazon India.
The offer will also be available on select premium 4G smartphones on Amazon.in.
