It is well known fact that the bsnl land line subscribers, are surrendering the land line basic phone, because of lack of attention to maintain the lines. Faults are not attended, in time, telephone bills are not delivered every month on a regular basis. With declining staff members because of retirement, the landline surrender is more likely to increase, that will result in closure of telephone exchanges.
If BSNL management is willing to improve the land line services it should pay attention to fault attention within a reasonable time, ensure that the bills are delivered on a regular basis, and also recruit staff to ensure that land lines are not surrendered.
