Freaky Ali, the romantic Comedy film starring Arbaaz Khan, is inspired from Adam Sandler’s Hollywood film Happy Gilmore, distributor Pooja Entertainment and Films Ltd said.
The film will be released on the 9th of next month.
Freaky ali is directed and written by Salman Khan’s brother Sohail and the movie’s shooting was completed by 38 days.
It was Rumored Salman Khan would Play a cameo but the director later denied the news.
Freaky Ali tells the story of a ordinary man mastering Golf. Due to similarities in the plot and even picturization, there were allegations that the film is more or less a copy of Hollywood flick Happy Gilmore.
Apart from Arbaaz, Freaky Ali features Amy jackson, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jas Arora and Seema Biswas.
Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja entertainment and Films Ltd will release the films in 900 screens around India, the company said.
