Bosch India’s Security Technology business unit says it has expanded its product portfolio to suit its local customers and is increasing its investment for local research and development by around 30%.
The company has localized production of products like amplifiers, speakers and conference systems.
Localization helps it offer speakers and other products for the public address domain at affordable prices.
The company’s business division has entered into the SAARC region last year with products that have been made in India.
Bosch India said that it is trying to meet the demands of various segments, such as transportation, energy and infrastructure and adds that the business unit has success with its conferencing-cum-voting system.
“We are preparing to provide Safety, Security and Communication solutions that are in line with India’s Smart City initiatives. We are collaborating with partners who have been present in this eco-system for long,” said Sudhir Tiku, head – South Asia, Bosch Security Systems.
