Reliance Communications unveils ‘Unlimit’ Internet of Things offering

Reliance Group on Tuesday launched its Internet-of-Things offering Unlimit.

IoT is jargon for a connected world in which appliances and equipment are connected to the Internet and managed remotely.

Reliance Communications had announced an IoT partnership Jasper Technologies, later taken over by Cisco Systems Inc, last year.

Separately, the company said it will soon add MTS users to its 4G network. No update was given open sale of 4G to new customers.

On Aircel, RCom said its merger will create a totally new company, which will be free from the attitudes and challenges faced by either RCom or Aircel in the past.

“It will be a new brand, new ecosystem, new values that focuses on the future rather than the legacy business,” the company said.
