TVS Motor Co, maker of motorcycles and three-wheelers, posted a sales growth of 36% during the month of November 2014, making it one of the best months for the company in recent times.
This follows a strong November for Maruti Suzuki as well.
TVS’ total sales increased from 161,908 units recorded in the month of November 2013 to 220,046 units in the month of November 2014, with domestic two wheeler sales up 33%, led by scooters.
Domestic two wheeler sales grew from 135,218 units in November 2013 to 179,453 units in November 2014.
Scooters sales of the company grew by 62% increasing from 38,331 units in November 2013 to 62,223 units, while motorcycle sales grew by 41% increasing from 61,471 units to 86,424 units.
The company’s total exports grew by 55% with sales increasing from 25,338 units in the month of November 2013 to 39,215 units in November 2014.
Two wheeler exports grew by 55% with sales increasing from 20,386 units in November 2013 to 31,526 units in November 2014. Two Wheeler Total two wheeler sales increased by 36% from 155,604 units recorded in November 2013 to 210,979 units in November 2014.
Three wheeler sales of the company registered an increase of 44%, growing from 6,304 units in November 2013 to 9,067 units in November 2014.
