SpiceJet has launched a non-stop daily flight on the Delhi – Kochi – Delhi route from today.
At present, the airline has two ‘hopping’ flights on the route. Though passengers do not have to change aircraft, the current system does result in a loss of about 45 minutes due to the stop over at airports such as Mumbai.
The flight is yet to reflect on SpiceJet’s booking website (see picture above.)
SpiceJet has been the most aggressive airline in India in recent months due to its promotions and campaigns. It has also recently announced big expansions of its fleet and schedule with the induction of six new aircraft and 41 flights.
“We have been consistently strengthening our network in both the domestic and international markets to gear up for the upcoming winter schedule. The additional frequencies added into the domestic network will ensure that our passengers are able to travel with friends and family to more leisure destinations,” said Shilpa Bhatia Sr. VP and Head of Sales and Distribution, SpiceJet.
