SpiceJet is offering 1 lakh seats at fares as less as Rs 799 plus taxes on certain short haul routes, such as Delhi-Chandigarh, Mumbai-Goa, Bengaluru-Kochi, Madurai-Chennai, Jammu-Srinagar and Kolkata-Agartala.
On other routes, fares will go up to Rs 2,699 excluding taxes.
In practice, a Rs 799 fare will imply a final figure of around Rs 1,100-1,300 depending on the airports involved.
Bookings can be made between 20th August 2015 and 22nd August 2015 for travel between 25th August 2015 and 26th March 2016.
The ‘Freedom to Fly’ sale also involves a 10% percent additional discount for booking through SpiceJet’s mobile app.
SpiceJet said tickets can be booked on its website.
The sale is not available at SpiceJet’s call centre or at SpiceJet Airport Ticket Offices.
Tickets under this offer are non-refundable (taxes and fees are refundable) though they are changeable with a change fee and fare difference, the airline said.
SpiceJet is India’s #2 low fare airline and has 250 daily flights to 41 destinations, including 34 domestic and 7 international.
