Power Transmission and Distribution services provider BS Ltd said revenue almost doubled in the first quarter of the current financial year.
It reported a consolidated total turnover of INR 970 crore in the first quarter from Rs 502 cr in the same quarter of last year.
Net profit jumped to Rs 24 crore from Rs 19 crore.
EBIDTA grew 31% on a quarterly basis and stands at INR 90 crore.
“Despite volatile market conditions and challenging times for infrastructure players, BS Limited has started the year on a good note with near doubling of revenues in the quarter,” said Rajesh Agarwal, Chairman.
“We are strengthening our international foothold and we look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead. With the proposed vertical integration coming on stream, the company will have the benefit of economies of scale which will further aid the Company deliver growth and value.”
The 11th Annual General Meeting of the Company will convene on September 30, 2015.
