Visiting Amritsar’s Golden Temple is considered an auspicious start to anything new. So, with Zee TV’s upcoming primetime show ‘Tashan-e-Ishq’ all set to launch on 10th August, its cast decided it was time to seek blessings of the Lord for its success.
“We have been shooting in Punjab as the show is based there. So, it would have left us with a very empty feeling, had we returned to Mumbai without visiting the Golden Temple,” said one of the actors Vaishnavi McDonald.
The beautiful Jasmin Bhasin who is essaying the role of the female protagonist Twinkle Taneja said, “Being a Punjabi myself, I am well-versed with the culture of our state and can easily relate to it. I totally loved my stay in Amristar, it was like being back at home; Punjabis personify fun.”
“I’m remarkably fond of the heavenly food that is severed there, it is priceless and a blessing of God! I’m thankful to the team of Tashn-e-Ishq for this chance to visit this pious place again. I have great expectations from the show, I hope Baba Ji showers his blessings and our show becomes a big hit.”
Actor Zain Imam who’s essaying the character of Yuvraaj Luthra, the male lead of the show was seen interacting with a bunch of fans who had come to watch the unit shoot near the famous Golden temple.
Young women in the crowd couldn’t get enough of the handsome hunk and were clicking endless selfies with him.
Imam said, “I love everything about Punjab, be it the culture, food, its people or the hospitality. I can’t explain my delight on visiting this wonderful city and the warm welcome we got was heartwarming. Additionally, I’m a big foodie and for me there is no greater love than the love of food. So I tried the famous amritsari chole kulche and needless to say, it’s to die for. I’m so fond of this place that I would love to visit the city again. I love my character on the show and I’m thoroughly enjoying working with the entire cast and crew. My chemistry with my co-star Jasmine is great, in fact we have become best of friends in just no time.”
