Volkswagen will launch the 2015 version of its C sedan Vento today at 12 noon.
Dealers have already started taking orders for the new Vento.
The Vento competes with Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna 4S in India.
The 2015 model is unlikely to witness any big change on the internals, with the same engines.
The Vento’s 1.5-litre diesel engine delivers 103.5 bhp power @ 4,400rpm and 250Nm of peak torque @ 1,500-2,500rpm and comes with with five-speed manual transmission and seven-speed automatic.
There is also a 1.6 MPI engine that gives a mileage of 16 km/l and a 1.2 TSI and 1.5 MT engines.
Further details will be available at 12 noon.
There are, however, marked changes in the front view of the 2015 model.
For example, there will be a new re-worked front bumper with three-slat chrome grille and larger air dam.
