Domino’s Pizza starts cashless facility for phone orders

Domino’s Pizza has started cashless payment facility for those who order by phone as well.

“Post demonetization, we have seen many customers choosing to order online. Consumers coming to our restaurants to dine in or carry out are able to pay With Credit caras or Wassets. However, there are many customers who still order with a phone. It is for these customers that we have introduced this cashless service,” said Dev Amritesh, President & Chief Business Officer, Domino’s Pizza India.

Domino’s is India’s largest Pizza brand, and runs 1085 Pizza restaurants across 251 cities in the country.

Under the new facility, customers who place an order via phone will immediately get a link via SMS.

When they click on the link, they will be taken to a webpage where they can enter their card or wallet details. The delivery boy will get a confirmation message once the payment is done, and will handover the pizza at the doorstep.

Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd, which operates the Domino’s Pizza chain in India, is part of Jubilant Bhartia Group and is also India’s largest food service company.

The Company also has exclusive rights for developing and operating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in India and has launched 73 Dunkin’ DonutS restaurants in 23 cities in India.
