Wipro to sell its cloud service via Oracle platform

oracleWipro Limited, an India-based information technology, consulting and business process services company, said it had joined Oracle’s Cloud Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program.

Wipro’s Boundary Less Data Center offering has been integrated with Oracle’s twin cloud offerings — Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service.

‘Cloud’ refers to the practice of leveraging the Internet to provide clients access to software that is running at the tech company’s data center.

The platform provides end-to-end life cycle services across Oracle laaS and PaaS, to help Customers enhance the speed of execution and improve business performance,” said Kiran Desai, Senior Vice President and Business Head, Global infrastructure Services (GIS), Wipro Limited.

Oracle Cloud Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program is available to partners who have demonstrated the skills and infrastructure to build, deploy, run and manage both Oracle and non-Oracle workloads.

This Program will also enable Oracle Partner Network members to offer a complete managed service Solution for workloads running on Oracle Platform as a Service and Infrastructure as a Service. Wipro is a diamond level member of Oracle Partner Network.

The Oracle Cloud Marketplace offers an intuitive user interface to browse and search for application installation features. Customers can easily deploy provider business applications from a centralized cloud interface.
