JSW steel said its monthly crude steel production jumped 27% in August to 13.52 lakh ton.
Production of flat rolled products was up by 15% to 9.71 lakh tonnes. Output of long rolled products jumped 24% to 2.51 lakh tonnes, the steel company said. It said that the output of crude steel for the month was a record for the company.
The company has total steel making capacity of 15 lakh tonnes per month.
