Tata Homes and SBI signed an agreement under which the two companies will make special offers to people who hold their salary accounts in the bank and want to purchase a Tata Homes property with an SBI loan.
The nature of these offers was not revealed, but it is estimated that they could involve some discount in the price of the property or in the interest on the home loan from SBI.
“Under this MoU, the partners will be launching various promotional campaigns from time to time,” they said.
“Government Employees and Defence Personnel having SBI Salary accounts will get a never before offer on TATA Housing Homes should they avail a SBI Home Loan for the same,” they said, adding that the offer will result in ‘significant savings’ for government employees on their home purchase.
Rajnish Kumar, MD, NBG of SBI said the alliance was set to be the largest so far in this segment.
SBI is the largest home loan provider in the country.
