The Tata Motors Group reported a 2% decline in global wholesales in June 2017.
Total global wholesales for the month was at 90,966.
The decline came from the commercial vehicle segment.
Sales of commercial vehicles, including from Tata Motors and Tata Daewoo fell 8% year on year to 30,241.
Passenger vehicles whole-sales increased by 1% to 60,725.
Within this, global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 49,422 vehicles including 6,966 from China-based CJLR.
CJLR is a joint venture between JLR and Chery Automobiles and is an unconsolidated subsidiary for JLR.
Jaguar wholesales for the month were 12,463 vehicles — down from 12,942 last year — while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 36,959 vehicles, up from 34,255 in 2016.
Whole-sale numbers reflect the sale of vehicles to agencies such as the United Nations, armies of different countries, mining companies, large fleet operators and transport companies and so on.
