AirAsia to give away 1,000 OnePlus Two invites

oneplsuAirAsia – the world’s best low-cost airline, will offer up to 1,000 OnePlus 2 invites to AirAsia customers (predetermined through a lucky draw), the company said.

Previously, others like Ola Cabs and Airtel also announced schemes to dispense with OnePlus Two invites, which enable the user to buy a OnePlus Two handset for Rs 24,999.

The AirAsia offer is valid on ticket bookings made between September 30, 2015 and October 09, 2015 on airasia.com, for people planning to travel between October 10, 2015 and October 20, 2015.

“The lucky winners will receive the physical invites while they are seated inside the flight from the AirAsia crew members. The goodies don’t stop at that! OnePlus fans travelling on AirAsia even stand a chance to win OnePlus 2 smartphones on select flights,” it said.

While this may be good publicity for all concerned, such schemes often increase frustration levels for fans who have registered for invites and have been waiting for weeks to get their hands of OnePlus Twos. OnePlus is reported to be handing out around 75,000 invites over this week and the previous one.
